Overview
The start of the Cold War began after World War 2. In 1948; all governments thought that the world would become either communist of capitalist. The allies in the west thought that Russia would use force to take over Europe. They were also especially worried that the Soviet Union had gathered information on the making of Atomic Bombs.
Conflicting Sides: The NATO, whose most powerful country was the United States, and most of the other countries held together by the Warsaw Pact whose most powerful country was the Soviet Union.
